Mansfield School Committee approves school choice enrollment and policy revisions.

Mansfield School Committee opens five school choice seats for grade 6 and ten each for grades 9 and 10 for 2026-27. Superintendent Michelle McKeon reported that the district won a $6,400 grant from the State Treasurer's Financial Education Innovation Fund and announced the kickoff of a strategic planning process with Teaching and Learning Alliance Consultants. McKeon presented a mid-year formative assessment showing progress on entry completion, chronic absenteeism reduction, and budget development across the district.

The committee unanimously approved school choice enrollment and policy revisions to student welfare, health services, communicable disease response, student fees, and student teaching programs, with projected school choice revenue between $155,000 and $280,000.
