Select Board · Meeting of March 18, 2026
Mansfield Select Board approves 10 million dollars in bond anticipation notes. The board voted unanimously to issue the notes for the Albertini Well PFAS mitigation project, dated March 25 at 3.25 percent interest and maturing September 24, with a 29,100 dollar premium to TD Financial Products LLC. In related rate action, the board approved a 6 percent water rate increase and 4 percent sewer rate increase, both effective May 21, 2026, citing declining usage and the need to maintain sustainable revenue models.
Treasurer John Ellard and consultant Dave Fox of Raftelis presented the financing plan; the board also approved a one dollar increase in non-resident commuter parking rates, from 4 dollars to 5 dollars per day, effective April 15, 2026.
