Budget Subcommittee schedules public outreach on spring fiscal plan

MANSFIELD — Budget Subcommittee schedules five spring meetings to discuss town and school budgets. The Mansfield committee selected April and May dates at Town Hall and the Council on Aging, following the School Committee Budget Public Hearing on March 24. Chair Sara Walsh said the presentations would emphasize long-term planning, with the committee also requesting that the Select Board reinstate the Town and Schools Needs Assessment Ad Hoc Committee for ongoing capital and operational planning.
Five members attended; Jack Cooney and Walter Wilk were absent.
