Mansfield Imposes Mandatory Phase III Outdoor Water Restrictions

MANSFIELD — Residents across town are now subject to mandatory Phase III outdoor water restrictions, the most restrictive stage yet this season, after the town escalated its water conservation status on June 10.

**TOWN HALL**

The town upgraded to Phase III outdoor water restrictions on Tuesday, June 10, ordering residents to water only on the specific days and times posted on the town's official alert center. The designation — listed prominently on the town homepage as an active emergency alert — is mandatory, not voluntary, and applies townwide. Residents are urged to protect what the town describes as "precious water resources." Full schedule details are available at mansfieldma.com.

On a separate front, the Industrial Development Commission has launched a Downtown Sign & Facade Improvement Program in partnership with the Select Board and the town's State House delegation. The initiative aims to upgrade the physical appearance of Mansfield's downtown business corridor by helping property and business owners improve signage and building facades. The town's June 2026 newsletter, now available on the town website, carries additional detail on both items along with updates from other departments, boards, and committees.
