Mansfield Sets Key Election Dates, Releases August Newsletter
MANSFIELD — The Town Clerk's office posted a News Flash on Monday flagging important dates ahead of the state primary election, directing residents to Mansfield's election page for registration and deadline details.
TOWN HALL
The primary election notice, posted August 17, was the day's most notable Town Hall item; the town did not detail specific dates in the alert itself, but urged residents to review the election information page before deadlines pass (read the notice at https://www.mansfieldma.com/CivicAlerts.aspx?aid=568).
Town Hall also released the August edition of its Town Newsletter, featuring updates from departments, boards, and committees across the municipality. Separately, the town's Alert Center continues to flag Phase III water restrictions, in effect since June 10, as the summer water-use rules remain active for residents.
COMING UP
Several town boards meet this week. The Southeastern Regional Planning & Economic Development District, the Council on Aging, and an amended session of the Zoning Board of Appeals are all scheduled for Tuesday, August 18. On Wednesday, August 19, the School Committee meets jointly with the Select Board, which also holds its own regular meeting that evening. The Animal Welfare Committee meets Thursday, August 20.
