Commission Ratifies Enforcement Orders for Wetland Violations

MANSFIELD — Commission ratifies enforcement orders for wetland violations dating to 2022. The Mansfield Conservation Commission voted unanimously to ratify enforcement orders against six properties and O'Reilly's Tree Experts for unauthorized filling of intermittent streams and disturbance of wetland resource areas. Conservation Wetlands Planner Katelyn Gonyer reported violations that began in 2022 at 120 Forbes Boulevard, 130 Forbes Boulevard, 505 West Street, 509 West Street, and 493 West Street.
The town is working with Town Counsel on restoration of affected areas. The commission also unanimously approved development proposals for single-family dwellings at 43 Cobb Street by Marcus Baptiste of Southbrook Development and continued a hearing for 35 Cobb Street to April 27.
