Animal Welfare Committee reviews shelter procedures, expands public access consideration

MANSFIELD — The Mansfield Animal Welfare Committee unanimously approved prior minutes and reviewed shelter procedures and operations. Chairman Carol Kosel presented updated volunteer guidelines, and Shelter Coordinator Jada Lebron will design improved facility signage. The shelter is preparing to receive three cats, all current on vaccinations, and the dog Heidi is available for adoption.

Leadership will explore extending public hours on Tuesday evenings.
