West Street final paving set for Oct. 21 to 23

The Mansfield Department of Public Works Highway Division announced Oct. 15 a schedule update for final paving on West Street as part of the West Street Road Construction Project.

The paving will take place Wednesday, Oct. 21, through Friday, Oct. 23, on West Street from Grove Street to the town line. Crews will be on site starting at 6 a.m. each day, with work expected to continue until 5 p.m. The job is expected to take three days.

Detail officers will be on site to direct local traffic only, and the town said heavy delays should be expected during the work. Residents were asked to plan accordingly.

There will be no street parking allowed during the paving, and residents were told irrigation systems must be shut off in the area.
