Recreation Commission Approves Seven Facility Permits and Adjusts Field Fees

MANSFIELD — Recreation Commission approves seven facility permits and sets tennis court fees. The commissioners voted unanimously April 28 to approve facility requests from groups including the National Black Doll Museum vendor market, Women's Over 40 Soccer, and the Celebration of Animals event, with fee waivers granted for two nonprofit fundraisers. North Attleboro High School will pay $500 per week for Plymouth Street Tennis Courts use through June 2027, generating $5,500 in revenue.
Parks and Recreation Director Sherri Gurnon reported the Recreation Department seasonal account was cut from $9,500 to $5,000 under a town spending freeze implemented April 8.
