Airport Commission · Meeting of February 9, 2026

The Commission approved removal of the displaced threshold and relocation of Precision Approach Path Indicator lights on Runway 32 as a concurrent element of the upcoming runway and taxiway reconstruction project, following Airport Engineer Matt Caron's presentation of two timeline options via telephone. Chair Joel Brandwine received recognition of the Mansfield Community Service Award, presented by the Select Board on February 4 with citations from the Massachusetts State Senate and House.

The Commission also received an FAA complaint regarding airport operations and policies; Chair Brandwine indicated he would draft a response addressing each issue for Commissioner review before FAA submission.
