Airport Commission authorizes wildlife fencing revisions, operational plan scope

Mansfield Airport Commission approves operational planning and wildlife fencing in routine March meeting. Chair Joel Brandwine was granted unanimous authority to approve additional design revisions to wildlife perimeter fencing, and the Commission voted 5-0 to authorize Gale Associates' scope of work for development of the Airport's Yearly Operational Plan. Treasurer William Walker presented monthly and year-to-date budget reports; the Commission voted 5-0 to approve $73,490.61 in February 2025 expenses.

The five present commissioners also heard updates on ongoing runway and taxiway reconstruction projects, received notice of an FAA complaint resolution, and considered guest Bob Moreau's proposal for a summer Rotary Club event at the airport.
