Nightingale (Craig) of Phoenix, Arizona; his grandchildren, Brianna MacKenzie (Thomas), Amanda Murphy, Colleen Murphy, and Matthew Murphy, all of Mansfield, MacKenzie Greene of Phoenix, and Luke Edwards of Phoenix; and his great-grandchild, Hayden MacKenzie of Mansfield. He was predeceased by his parents, Lawrence E. Murphy and Doris L. Murphy (Hicks), and his brother Lawrence M. "Larry" Murphy. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, June 26, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 N Main St, Mansfield, MA 02048. A funeral Mass is scheduled for Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Saint Mary's Church, 330 Pratt St, Mansfield, MA 02048.
